Inpatient Programs
Southwest Regional Medical Center provides a 26 bed behavioral health. Committed to serving their patients SRMC recently expanded to the fourth floor of the hospital to enable us meet the unique needs of the community and surrounding areas.
Physicians, nurses, family members, clergy, nursing and assisted living homes, social workers, law enforcement or others concerned about the mental health of individuals 18 years or older may make referrals to the program. Individuals may also seek services on their own.
All patients are assessed a licensed psychiatrist.
All patients admitted to the inpatient program receive 24-hour day supervision in a therapeutic environment. Components of treatment include medication management, psychotherapy recreational therapy, problem solving group activities and life skills classes.
For those needing a less restrictive treatment option, the Structured Outpatient Program, Partial Hospitalization Program, Intensive Outpatient Programs or Outpatient Programs are available for referrals. These patients receive an individualized treatment plan which focuses on decreasing symptoms and increasing the patient’s level of functioning. This plan is achieved through a group model that provides education, connection and support. Services offered are:

- Group Psychotherapy
- Medication Management
- Psychiatric and Medical Evaluation
- Memory Impairment Assessment
- Clinical Social Work Assessment
